2. What information do we collect?
Depending on how you interact with OfficePark, we may collect:
- Contact information, such as your name, work email address and telephone number.
- Business information, such as your company name, role or position, business type and company website.
- Enquiry and qualification information, such as the website problem you identify, the service you are interested in, your project timeframe and an indicated investment range.
- Communications you choose to send to us through WhatsApp, email, Meta platforms or other channels.
- Basic technical information that website hosting or third-party resources may automatically receive when your browser requests our website, such as an IP address, browser/device information and request logs.
3. Where does the information come from?
We primarily collect personal information directly from you when you:
- submit an OfficePark lead form or Website Credibility Assessment request on Meta;
- contact us through WhatsApp, email or social media;
- ask us about our services or provide information needed to respond to an enquiry; or
- otherwise choose to communicate with OfficePark.
Where you use a third-party platform such as Facebook, Instagram or WhatsApp, that platform may process information under its own terms and privacy policy before information is made available to OfficePark.
4. Why do we use personal information?
We may use personal information to:
- respond to your enquiry and communicate with you;
- provide a requested Website Credibility Assessment or other requested information;
- understand your business needs and assess whether OfficePark's services are an appropriate fit;

- manage legitimate business, administrative and record-keeping requirements;
- protect our website, communications and business against misuse or security threats; and
- comply with applicable legal and regulatory obligations.
The justification for processing depends on the context and may include your consent, steps taken at your request before entering into a contract, performance of a contract, compliance with law, or the legitimate interests of OfficePark or another person where POPIA permits that processing.
5. Meta lead forms and the Website Credibility Assessment
If you submit an OfficePark Meta Instant Form, Meta may pre-fill or process certain information using information associated with your Meta account. Meta then makes your submitted lead information available to OfficePark. OfficePark's handling of the information after we receive it is covered by this Privacy Policy.
Information requested in the form is used to review your assessment request, understand your business and determine whether a follow-up conversation is appropriate. Supplying the information is voluntary, but if you do not provide required form information, we may be unable to process the request or provide the assessment.
6. Contact and direct marketing
Where you consent to contact, OfficePark may contact you about the assessment you requested and related website-development services. You can withdraw consent or object to direct marketing at any time by telling us in the relevant communication or emailing hello@officeparktech.com.
We will respect a valid marketing objection or withdrawal of consent, subject to any processing that remains necessary or permitted by law for a different purpose.
7. Who may receive your information?
We may make personal information available only where reasonably necessary for the purposes described above, including to categories of recipients such as:
- technology, website-hosting, communications and lead-handling service providers that support OfficePark;
- platform providers you choose to interact with, including Meta services such as Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp;
- professional advisers where their services reasonably require the information; and
- regulators, law-enforcement bodies, courts or other authorities where disclosure is required or permitted by law.
Service providers that process personal information on our behalf are expected to handle it only for authorised purposes and with appropriate safeguards.
8. Processing outside South Africa
Some technology or communications providers may process information in other countries. Where personal information is transferred outside South Africa, OfficePark will take reasonably practicable steps to use a transfer permitted by POPIA and appropriate safeguards for the circumstances.
9. How long do we keep information?
We retain personal information only for as long as it is reasonably needed for the purpose for which it was collected, for legitimate business records, or for a period required or permitted by applicable law. When OfficePark is no longer authorised or required to retain a record, we will take reasonable steps to delete, destroy or de-identify it as appropriate.
10. How do we protect information?
OfficePark takes reasonable technical and organisational measures appropriate to the information and the risks involved to protect personal information against loss, unauthorised access, misuse, alteration or unlawful processing. No online or electronic system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
If a security compromise involving personal information occurs, OfficePark will handle notification and response obligations in accordance with applicable law.
11. Your privacy rights
Subject to POPIA and other applicable law, you may ask OfficePark to:
- confirm whether we hold personal information about you;
- provide access to personal information we hold about you;
- correct information that is inaccurate, incomplete or out of date;
- delete or destroy information where the legal requirements for doing so are met;
- record and respect a valid objection to processing; or
- record a withdrawal of consent where processing depends on your consent.
To make a privacy request, email hello@officeparktech.com. We may need enough information to verify the request and identify the relevant records before acting on it.
